I’ve decided that from now on, I shall drive everywhere with my full beam on. Since it would appear that a reasonable percentage of the other fuckers on the road are driving around with the intent of dazzling every other road user, I may as well join their ranks and point my full beams at every passing car. What the hell, I may just turn on the fog lights too, let’s really light up the road, like some twat on the M3 was doing tonight. I passed 6 cars, and was still being dazzled by this idiot in my rear view mirror. Maybe I should just go the whole hog, and get those super-brite, dazzle-plus, eye-sight-be-gone bulbs that appear to be brighter than the sun. Then I can really piss people off.
OH YEAH, and while I’m ranting. This is for all the illiterate peons:

When you get it wrong you are announcing to the world that you really couldn’t give a shit about how well you communicate with your fellow man. You ignorant fucks.
AND: For some reason, TiVo decided not to record the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy tonight. Despite the fact that the Sky Guide, and every other TV/Radio guide has got Hitchhiker’s on at 18:30 on Tuesdays on Radio 4 for the next four weeks, TiVo’s programme guide decided to list something completely different. So, because it couldn’t see HH in the list, it recorded nothing. Now I have to wait until Thursday to get the latest episode. Not a huge disaster admittedly, but still bloody irritating.
Definitely agree with this one! My last but one car had front fog lights, and I can count on one hand the number of times I could legally use them, and even then they weren’t that much use really. In terms of lights, have a read of this from Thames Valley Police, this from Avon and Somerset and this from West Midlands.
